Rock of Love: cast interviews

Jamie Ross sits down with Lacey on Talk of Love, for a candid and surprisingly thoughtful look back at Rock of Love Bus, from the perspective of one of the franchise’s most genuine rocker girls.
Jamie talks about being a real fan of Bret Michaels and the earlier Rock of Love seasons, first auditioning for season 2, then finally making it onto season 3—only to be brought in late as one of the “new girls.” She explains how awkward and frustrating that setup was, why it instantly created tension with the original cast, and how different the experience might have been if she’d been there from day one.
She also reflects on trying to anticipate how she’d come across on TV, realizing that reality TV steamrolls any “character” you think you’re going to play, and navigating the nonstop bickering around her—especially from the women already deep into the competition. Jamie also gets into her chemistry with Bret, why parts of the experience felt very different from what she expected, and what she’s been up to since, including building confidence and moving into new ventures. It’s honest, self-aware, and a great deep dive into one of Rock of Love Bus’s most underrated cast members.
